The arrival of the much-anticipated refreshed version of Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) was celebrated at a Champagne reception last week. The event took place on 6th September in the Boardroom at 1 Horse Guards Rd. Guests included authors of the guidance and members of the Review Team and Reference Group.
John Stewart, Director for Policy and Standards, took the opportunity to thank everyone for their contribution to the project to update the guidance in-line with the latest developments and good practice in programme management. Over the last 10 months this has included widespread consultation with MSP users, experts and academics throughout the public and private sectors. The contribution made by OGC's official partners was duly noted and John congratulated them for their "ideas, innovation and dedication to the task in hand."
John also spoke proudly of OGC's ongoing commitment to its popular, highly regarded portfolio of Best Practice products, some of which have grown to become global brands.
TSO's Zoe Peden, project manager for the MSP refresh, thanked her team for their efforts, highlighting the qualities that each author brought to the project. The speeches were brought to a close by Richard Pharro, Chief Executive of the APM Group Ltd, who reminded us of the great deal of work that has gone into developing and delivering the capability of the partnership programme. This will ensure that OGC's products remain ably supported as they are developed.
