Over the first 100 days since the launch of Transforming Government Procurement, OGC has delivered the foundations needed for the full implementation. We have made an immediate impact on the TGP agenda during these first 100 days since its announcement (February to June 2007). On 23 January 2007, the Financial Secretary to the Treasury launched HM Treasury's new vision for procurement in Government, Transforming Government Procurement. This booklet sets out how the Office of Government Commerce is working with central Government departments to deliver that transformation and to achieve major value for money savings and effective procurement of high-quality public services.
