We want GPS members' views
As a highly valued stakeholder in Government procurement we are seeking your feedback on the new OGC Policy and Standards Framework that was launched on 12th March.
The framework is intended to be a comprehensive on-line resource for procurers, setting out all OGC's key policies and supporting guidance. It contains four key components:
- An 'Introduction to public procurement' guide - intended as an overview for those who have minimal procurement experience
- A Legal Framework section detailing the regulations and legislative requirements that all public procurers must adhere to
- Key Policy Principles, bringing together procurement policy and related guidance
- 'How to Buy Guide' - a step-by-step journey through a procurement lifecycle (we are developing the 'How to Buy Guide' further over the next few months).
We would appreciate your views on further improvements, particularly around the following areas:
- How to Buy
- Guide Key Policies - are there any missing?
- Overall ease of access and use.
- Further potential ways in which we can enhance and develop the Framework
In addition we would appreciate your comments on alignment with your own initiatives, in terms of policies and standards.
We intend to publish an enhanced version of the Framework following completion of this consultation process.
