OGC's Supplier Feedback Service
The OGC Supplier Feedback Service (formerly the Complaints Function) was established in April 2007. The main aims of the function are: To provide a clear, structured and direct route for suppliers to raise concerns about public procurement practice when attempts at resolving issues with a contracting authority have failed. To provide reasoned feedback to enquirers on their concerns. To help OGC identify areas of poor procurement practice so it can work with the contracting authority to put them right, and help ensure similar cases do not arise in future. To take action to reduce the likelihood of similar issues arising in other authorities.
Procurement Policy Notes
OGC's Procurement Policy Division issues procurement policy notes (PPNs) to public sector organisations, to provide guidance on, or request information about, areas of public procurement policy.
Competitive Dialogue
As a new procedure, Competitive Dialogue (CD) will take time to bed down and for procurers and suppliers to gain experience in its use and address the issues which arise.
Supply2.gov.uk
Supply2.gov.uk is the only official Government lower-value (typically below £100,000) contract opportunity portal, created by the Government to provide small businesses with access to lower-value public sector contracts - a huge potential market expected to exceed £175 Billion* this year within the UK alone.
Supported Businesses Directory
The Supported Businesses Directory managed by the British Association for Supported Employment (BASE), is an on-line directory of supported factories and businesses. The directory is an aid for procurers looking to source products and services under Article 19 of the Public Sector Procurement Directive and contains searchable listings of businesses and their products and services.
