The conference brought together senior procurement managers representing almost all central Government departments, as well as a number of key agencies and NDPBs.
The event updated attendees on the measures OGC has been taking since the launch of the Transforming Government Procurement strategy in January, as well as inviting their views and comments on how the transformation of Government procurement can be brought about.
The keynote speech was given by Financial Secretary to the Treasury, John Healey MP, who described the importance of raising procurement capability throughout Government.
