Future Developments

The following developments and enhancements are planned for the e-PIMS system over the coming year:

  • GIS links and mapping technology refresh - proposal developed, hardware and software received
  • Phase 3 GUI developments - this relates to the outstanding functionality within Classic e-PIMS e.g. vacant space, demands, linking e-PIMS land, and administration module
  • Reporting - minor improvements to existing reporting, including the ability to "pick and choose" the fields from e-PIMS that users wish to export to Excel
  • Property Interrogator 2 - Live release anticipated early June. Property Interrogator provides high level, at a glance statistics across the estate and allows comparisons
  • Benchmarking Phase 3 - Following integration of benchmarking data into core e-PIMS, this phase includes development of a data collection tool and creating an annual financial year snapshot of e-PIMS data with the ability to view data from previous years
  • Annual Data Validation - this has previously been completed manually but will now be combined within e-PIMS. The first phase provides a summary of data issues for records within e-PIMS, with the second phase being automated confirmation by departmental SLAs that their data is correct
  • Integration of Display Energy Certificate within e-PIMS 
  • SDC SDiG Survey - e-PIMS will provide the platform for delivering future Sustainable Development in Government surveys
  • DEFRA - Linkages to their financial system to allow rent and one off payments to be generated
  • SEEDA - Minor changes to allow more of a Landlord perspective including notification of invoice process etc
