The e-PIMS database acts as a platform for various other initiatives within OGC and throughout Government:
PAM CAM
The PAM Capability Assessment Model has been jointly developed by the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) and the National Audit Office (NAO) and is a self-assessment tool that will enable organisations to measure and monitor their property asset management capability and identify areas for improvement.
PRION (M&CP)
This application is a Web based MI system incorporating monthly reporting process and workflow. Monthly data is collected from M&CP Category Teams on savings & benefits (Profiles). The Benefit Profiles are organised within each Category Team under Initiatives.
The Current categories are:
Public Sector Construction Demand Database (PSCDD)
The PSCDD acts facilitates the monitoring of construction programmes and projects from conception via construction completion to operation. This is achieved by collecting data at three distinct stages, spatially separated by time. The first stage (Future Demand) collects forward look or demand data, the second stage (Achieving Excellence (AE) / Project Performance) collects performance data on projects under construction, and the third stage (Asset performance in use) collects data on project during operation. The performance in use system is in the initial stages of planning. Access to the Public Sector Construction Database is provided via the Government Securer Internet, (GSI). For more information, please visit the OGC website.
Public Sector Finance (PS-PES)
This application has been designed to collect annual procurement category spend from Departments.
Register of Surplus Public Sector Land (HCA)
This provides a single reference point for all participating public sector organisations on the available national supply of surplus land and helps to ensure that wider government objectives are factored into land disposal.
Disposing agencies are required by Government Accounting Rules to place details on the Register when a site is declared surplus. After a 40 working day window for departments and public sector agencies to identify new uses for the land it can be released to the open market. If the site can be used beneficially elsewhere in the public sector it may be transferred at market value and brought back into use.
Strategic Investment Board Northern Ireland (ISNI)
This database assists the Northern Ireland Executive, its Departments and Agencies to deliver infrastructure investment on time and to budget.
It captures up-to-date and consistent information on the status of public sector capital procurements from a wide range of projects.
This information is made available to key decision makers (including status and exception reports). Also assisting in reporting delivery plans and progress to key stakeholders, including statutory bodies and private sector supply partners.
Sustainable Development in Government (SDiG)
This application provides a data collection tool for the Sustainable Development Commission (SDC), who acts as the independent "watchdog" of government progress on sustainable development and are tasked with annually assessing Government performance against the Sustainable Operations on the Government Estate (SOGE) targets.
