Information requested and disclosed regarding external reports of Electronic Data Systems Ltd, is below.

The dates that the two external reports into Electronic Data Systems Ltd (EDS) were commissioned were 12 August 2002 and 8 April 2004. They were submitted on 10 March 2003 and 6 October 2004. (These reports were entitled "Ranger I" and "Ranger II".)

The dates of the two internal reports were 18 March 2004 and 1 December 2004. The internal reports are of the type the Supplier Relations team at OGC produce on a routine basis on behalf of central government so as to provide an ongoing-review of a strategically important supplier.

Deloitte were commissioned as they were able to provide the services required for the Ranger Reports. The combined cost of the two Ranger Reports from Deloitte was £309,919. We hold no other information in respect of the overall cost of the Ranger Reports.

The relevant individuals responsible within OGC for the reports were (a) for Ranger 1 the then Supplier Relations and e-Commerce Directorate of OGC; for Ranger 2 and the internal reports (b) the Supplier and Government Marketplace Directorate of OGC.
