OGC's Trade Marks

OGC has a number of trade marks and logos relating to its best practice brands which distinguish them as being OGC produced and owned. These appear on its best practice products and services and can be seen on authorised products, including books, CDs and websites. Reference to a trade mark usually appears as: "... is a Registered Trade Mark of the Office of Government Commerce". There are some variations to this statement, depending on the nature of OGC's registration.

Trade mark protection applies to all uses of OGC's trade marks (registered and unregistered). A full list of OGC's trade marks together with the correct wording to be used for acknowledgement statements can be found at Annex 1.
