What you need to do

Produce an evaluation report for management.

Points to consider

The award recommendation and its rationale should be recorded in the form of a report to the SRO and senior management with responsibility for making the investment decision, setting out:

  • a summary record of the competition
  • details of the competing bids
  • proposals for and advantages of awarding the contract to the successful tenderer
  • the implications for the existing organisation.
