What you need to do

As each project is about to begin, the project teams should fully understand the project brief and have the appropriate project management standards in place.

Projects which already exist and which could contribute to the business objectives of the programme need to be identified, together with the new projects to be established which are necessary for the delivery of the business benefits.

Points to consider

For projects that are already underway, their progress and project documentation (such as the project initiation document) should be reviewed with the project teams.
