OGC and PUK will be running free briefing sessions for the public and private sectors to introduce the revised Standardisation of PFI Contracts Guidance, which was launched on 31st July 2002.
The briefing for Private Sector Practitioners will be held on Friday 13th September 2002, at the HM Treasury Conference Suite, 1 Horseguards Road, London, SW1P 3AE. It will start at 9 am and finish at 12.30 pm. This session is intended for contractors, lenders, advisers and other private sector organisations involved in PFI who want to learn more about the revised guidance.
The briefing for Private Finance Unit Staff and other Public Sector Practitioners will be held on Friday 13th September 2002, at the HM Treasury Conference Suite, 1 Horseguards Road, London, SW1P 3AE. It will start at 2pm and finish at 5.30pm This session is intended for departments, authorities, agencies and other public sector bodies involved in PFI who want to learn more about the revised guidance.
Speakers from OGC and PUK will be covering the key changes introduced in the revised guidance; how the revised guidance is to be implemented, and the new refinancing provisions and related guidance. Opportunities to raise questions with speakers will be included.
A detailed programme for both sessions will be available in the week of 2nd September.
Each session can accommodate 200 delegates. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and are limited to two places per organisation. If there is over-subscription, further briefing sessions will be arranged.
The Briefings are free of charge. Places need to be reserved by 5pm on Wednesday 11th September.

Please note that the revised guidance is available on the OGC and PUK websites, and that Butterworths will be publishing the definitive version of the guidance shortly. Delegates will not be provided with copies of the guidance at the Briefings, and should arrange to obtain their own copies.
