Following approval by the OGC Supervisory Board two new Best Practice guides for Top Management - "Risk allocation in long-term contracts" and "Forming partnering relationships with the private sector in an uncertain world" have just been published. The guide on allocating risk provides high-level guidance for departments to what sort of risks may be transferred and the kinds of risk that should not be transferred to the supplier. The guide on partnering relationships addresses the problems involved in dealing with uncertainty and change when setting up a partnering relationship with the private sector.
