An information pack for delivering Efficiency in local services has been published by ODPM. The pack provides further information about what the Efficiency Programme means for local government, what local authorities will be expected to do, and how the Government plans to support efforts in achieving efficiencies. It also sets out when more detailed information will be available, as there is still more work to do within Government departments to finalise their efficiency delivery support programmes.
