Sweet start for new framework agreement

The MITIE Facilities Management Services - recently accredited by OGC Buying Solutions - has since won three contracts for its facilities management services, including one from OGC.

MITIE launched its new service provision for three OGC locations - London, Norwich and Edinburgh - with the cutting of celebration cakes on the sites for staff, with information brochures about its services.

These include site security, cleaning, maintenance and engineering and "soft" services, such as setting up meeting rooms and video conferencing presentations, controlling and ordering stationery stock, waste management, and supervising health and safety on the premises.

The new frameworks agreement with MITIE - available to all public sector organisations nationwide - has also been taken up by the Government Office for the West Midlands and the Big Lottery Fund.
