OGC has appointed a new Chief Executive for our trading arm, OGCbuying.solutions.
Alison Littley will take over the role of Chief Executive of OGCbuying.solutions from Hugh Barrett, on Monday, October 2.
OGC Chief Executive, John Oughton said: "I am delighted to have recruited Alison Littley as the new Chief Executive of OGCbuying.solutions and I wish her every success in this highly important role. Alison brings important private sector procurement skills to her new role, which will further enhance the delivery of savings to the public sector.
"At the same time, I would like to thank her predecessor as Chief Executive at OGCbuying.solutions, Hugh Barrett, for the excellent work he has done over the last four years in delivering substantial savings to the public purse, through more efficient public procurement. We also wish him every success in the future."
Ms Littley comes over to OGCbuying.solutions from the premium drinks business, Diageo, where she was Global Demand and Marketing Procurement Director for the last seven years.
She said: ''I am thrilled to be joining OGCbuying.solutions, and I am very much looking forward to working with the team to build on the success that they have already achieved."
The outgoing Chief Executive of OGCbuying.solutions, Hugh Barrett, said:
