A new memorandum of understanding has been signed by OGCbuying.solutions and Agresso offering all public sector organisations preferential pricing arrangements on Agresso Business World software and services.
Read the OGCbuying.solutions press release for details of the deal.
The agreement, which sees Agresso restructuring its pricing model to offer unrestricted user site licences rather than named users, is expected to deliver potential savings of £12 million over the three year duration of the agreement.
The organisation's unrestricted access also extends to allowing external self-service access to Agresso Business World for its suppliers and customers. In addition, the memorandum encompasses a shared service provision that applies to new customers setting up within a shared service as well as to existing Agresso customers migrating into a shared service. This approach embraces 'One Account Government' incorporating increasing annual revenue savings so that the more organisations that join up the greater the saving.
Under the memorandum, Agresso has also included a reducing annual support and maintenance charge and is offering discounts across its range of implementation options including a managed service and a hosted managed service capability through its strategic partner Netstore.
