Entries are invited for the Prime Minister's Better Public Building Award 2007 - a special category within the British Construction Industry Awards.
The Prime Minister's Better Public Building Award, sponsored jointly by CABE and the Office of Government Commerce, celebrates excellence in design and procurement across the public sector. Any construction project commissioned by or on behalf of central or local government or a grant-aided organisation is eligible for the award.
The judges consider design, construction, delivery and operational performance, as well as the generation of additional social and environmental value.
The deadline for entries for the 2007 Prime Minister's Award is 19 April 2007. The shortlist will be announced in June and the winner in October 2007.
