The Office of Government Commerce (OGC) is consulting stakeholders on the draft Public Contracts and Utilities Contracts (Amendment) Regulations 2007. The main purpose of the proposed amendments is to make the necessary amendments to reflect the accession of Bulgaria and Romania to the EU at the beginning of this year. The opportunity has also been taken to make some minor corrections and clarifications in a small number of areas.
There is no substantive change to the EU procurement rules and the amendments are not expected to affect the majority of stakeholders. OGC has invited comments on the draft amendments from a number of interested parties.
The Draft Regulations (PDF, 105KB) and the Procurement Policy Note (PDF, 80KB) that introduces them are available to download.
