OGC Gateway has produced a series of short videos that help explain, the different elements of Gateway and encourage its adoption across government.
The videos, available on a DVD and on-line, include a series of case studies from a range of unique and repeatable projects. Each of the case studies explains the way the Gateway process challenged and provided assurance to their project - ultimately contributing to a more successful outcome.
The hope of the DVD is that it will encourage more project owners across government to adopt Gateway, in a disciplined and holistic way. It also provides an overview of the Gateway process, explaining what it does, for those who are not familiar with it.
There's also a section that explains the benefits of becoming a Gateway reviewer - with first hand interviews with Gateway reviewers, explaining how it has helped their career development and their own project management.
The DVD can be ordered via the OGC service desk - details available in the OGC Document Library. (For UK public sector distribution only.)
Copies of the videos can also be watched on-line or downloaded from the OGC website by those with compatible internet connections.
