Nigel Smith - Chief Executive

Nigel is the Chief Executive of the Office of Government Commerce and has overall responsibility for the organisation's work. He is a 2nd Permanent Secretary at the Treasury and a member of the Treasury Board. He is also the head of the Government Procurement Service (GPS) and Project and Programme Management (PPM) professions.

Nigel joined the civil service as Chief Executive of the Office of Government Commerce in September 2007. He has a successful track record, spanning over thirty years, of leading major national and global companies.

William Jordan - Chief Sustainability and Operating Officer

William has been the Office of Government Commerce's Chief Sustainability and Operating Officer since April 2008. He has responsibility for the organisation's collaborative procurement, estates and sustainability agendas. He was previously Director of OGC's Change Programme.

William's earlier career in the civil service has included postings in the Cabinet Office, the Treasury and the Department of Work and Pensions.

Sally Collier - OGC Executive Director

Sally is Executive Director of Policy and Capability. Her current portfolio includes leading a programme of Procurement Capability Reviews (PCRs) in central government to assess and benchmark capability and effectiveness. On the policy side, Sally is also responsible for the development and application of UK public procurement policy.

Sally's career started in the private sector but the last fifteen years have been spent in the public sector largely focussed on public procurement.
