Procurement Policy and Standards Framework

OGC's Policy and Standards Division has launched a Policy and Standards Framework, a new on-line portal to guide you through the key principles and processes of public procurement, helping you understand "what to do" and "how to do it" through:

• Clearly articulating the legal and policy boundaries surrounding public procurement;
• Providing clarity and consistency on standards and best practice; and,
• Providing step-by-step guidance on how to buy.

This part of the OGC website will be further developed over the course of 2008 into a comprehensive resource, bringing together all the mandatory policies governing public procurement, along with more detailed reference material setting out how to implement the policies.
The framework will be a continuously evolving resource, with new policy areas added and existing documentation amended as necessary. OGC will periodically consider users' views when making decisions on the development of the framework.
