Approvals

There are a number of questions that should be asked to confirm that this phase has been successfully completed.  These might include

• Has the ITT been agreed? 
• Have the evaluation criteria been agreed and applied to the responses? 
• Has the ITT evaluation report been produced and signed off by the Sponsor?
• Have the unsuccessful suppliers been advised?
• Is there formal approval of the suppliers to be taken to the contract phase?
• Is there a plan for delivery of the contract phase?
• Has a draft contract been created?
• Is there resource available for the next phase within the timeframe proposed? 
• Has the stakeholder management plan been updated to reflect any new contacts? 
• Has the Communications Plan for this phase been actioned?
• Have the risks and issues been updated?

The OGC Gateway Process examines programmes and projects at key decision points in their lifecycle and looks ahead to provide assurance that they can progress successfully to the next stage.

This toolkit does not include details of the OGC Gateway process but does indicate how the stages of that process relate to the Collaborative Category Management Process.
