2006 Procurement Policy Notes

OGC's Procurement Policy Division issues procurement policy notes (PPNs) to public sector organisations, to provide guidance on, or request information about, areas of public procurement policy. Below are PPN's for 2006.

• Public Contracts and Utilities Contracts Regulations 2006 (PDF, 64KB)
  Departments should note that the revised thresholds are effective from 31 January 2006.
• Below threshold procurements (PDF, 144KB)
  The European Commission has published an interpretive communication (IC) on "community law, applicable to contract awards, not subject, or not fully subject, to the provisions of the public procurement directives".
• Competitive Dialogue (PDF, 92KB)
  This provides some tips to:
  -help you use competitive dialogue;
  -reduce the risk of inappropriate use of the negotiated procedure; and
  -invite input for the development of further guidance.
• Remedies Directives (PDF, 108KB)
  This provides advice about the European Commission's published proposal to amend the existing remedies directives, and seeks written comments.
• EU statistics utilities Annual Return (PDF, 116KB)
